DIRECTIONS
TO:
HG Rent Container Packing Warehouse,
Unit 7, Old Essex Works, Maybells Commercial Estate,
Ripple Road (A13), near Barking, Essex, IG11 0TT.
(Weekdays only 8am to 4pm)
(Tel: 01525 851545)
FROM THE M11 & A406 (M25 (Junction 27) NORTH & WEST):
Bear left at the end of the M11 onto the A406 (North Circular Road South) for 5 miles. At the roundabout at the end of the A406 get into the nearside lane and bear left onto the A13 towards M25/Tilbury/Dartford Crossing. This is a dual carriageway with a central reservation. Go through an underpass (do not follow any signs to Ripple Road or Barking Town Centre) and over a fly-over for 2½ miles (as you go over the fly-over you will see three maroon and grey tower blocks on the left hand side). Keep in the nearside lane after this (you will see a Texaco petrol station on the opposite carriageway and an open Green to your left) and come off of the A13 at the next slip road junction signposted for Dagenham/Hornchurch A1306. Turn right and right again at the two roundabouts underneath the A13 going past the entrance to the blue Kuehne & Nagel Building and back on to the A13 in the direction from where you have just come from. Continued below.
FROM THE DARTFORD BRIDGE/TUNNEL (M25 (Junction
30) SOUTH/EAST):
Head 5 miles towards London on the A13 dual carriageway past the Ford Factory either side of this main road. Take the nearside lane after the Junction at the large square blue Kuehne & Nagel Building as the road dips down from being elevated. Staying on the A13 you will pass under a blue and white footbridge and there will be a high screening wall to the left. To the right there is the Vue Cinema Complex with a large Vue sign. Continued below.
CONTINUED – FROM BOTH DIRECTIONS:
After a few 100 metres the screening wall on your left finishes just past the end of the slip road. A few 100 metres further on after going under a blue & white footbridge there is a large bus stop lay-by in front of a small office block (Judd House) which should be pulled in to (you have gone too far if you get to the Texaco petrol station 150 metres later and you will have to cross the lights and go to the next roundabout under a flyover to turn around and try again). At the end of the lay-by (do not take the first turning that says Screwfix at the beginning of the lay-by and do not pull out onto the A13 again) there is a driveway off to the left in front of some yellow railings directly opposite several statues of famous footballers. At the bottom of the driveway between the two buildings (50 metres) by the silver railings there is the warehouse parking area to the left in front of the container loading bays. The car wash, if required, is located 400 metres past the warehouse and the Texaco Petrol station to the left at the traffic lights on the corner of the A13 Ripple Road and Renwick Road. Please note that not all Satnav units will locate the warehouse from the postcode.
Paul and Jim are the on-site contacts there for cars. The warehouse is open weekdays 8am to 4pm. Becontree Underground station is a 10 minute walk up Gale Street directly opposite the warehouse across the A13 or it is a short taxi journey to Barking station. |
